The cover photo of the March through June 2000 issue of the Sporty's Pilot Shop Catalog features Randy Henderson, the 1999 Sporty's Formula One National Aerobatic Champion and pilot for Texas T-Cart Airshows. The Sporty's cover pictures Randy with his announcer/wife Di Henderson, their air show plane the Texas T-Cart, the Sporty's Championship trophy, and a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737. Randy is a Captain for Southwest Airlines and has been flying for Southwest for over twenty-one years, and he is also a veteran aerobatic pilot beginning his twentieth season in the air show industry. Southwest Airlines provided the location for the photo shoot and recently printed a story about their employee's recent victory at the Sporty's National Aerobatic Championship in their corporate newsletter, LUV Lines. Randy and Di hope that their appearance on the Sporty's cover, which has a worldwide circulation of 6 million copies, solidifies the relationship between the worlds of general, aerobatic, and commercial aviation.
