Old-Fashioned Stick and Rudder Airshow Flying At Its Best!

Randy Henderson and his Texas T-Cart takes you back to the era of old-time barnstorming grassroots aerobatics. The Texas T-Cart is a highly modified, clipped-wing Taylorcraft BC12-D, and first rolled off the assembly line in 1946. Randy spent two years modifying this home built taildragger in his hangar at Cotton Patch Aerodrome in Frisco, Texas.

Randy HandersonThe wings of the Texas T-Cart have been clipped eight feet for a total wingspan of twenty-eight feet and powered by an 180 horsepower Lycoming engine. It also has an inverted fuel system specially designed for aerobatics, as well as a smoke oil system that Randy uses during all of his air show performances.

Watch in awe as Randy demonstrates a truly exciting “Texas Style” air show performance. This Kid from Cotton Patch performs “Aerial Ballet” over air show center with signature maneuvers including The Texas Two-Step, the Texas Turn, and the Texas Touchdown, all choreographed to relaxing music.
